Psssttt have you heard, there’s a top-secret Dracula Menu in Raleigh and we are on it! Offline rallied together six Downtown Raleigh spots to create a secret menu full of vamped-up items to honor Carolina Ballet’s Dracula, now showing at Fletcher Opera Theater in Raleigh until October 28. These spooky goodies cannot be found on the menu and will only be around until October 31. Check out the video below to see how to get the hookup.
Dracula’s Overbite
Our deliciously scary drink is named Dracula’s Overbite – and it is one you are really going to want to sink your teeth into. Made with Bonded Rye Whiskey, fresh lemon juice, honey, aromatic bitters, topped with a bloody port wine float and garnished with an orange. Stop in soon and say the secret password (Dracula) to get this special cocktail before it disappears on October 31, 2018.
Other participating downtown Raleigh spots include Yellow Dog Bread Co., The Haymaker, Raleigh Rolls, Bittersweet, and Raleigh Raw. Check out the full menu at Get-Offline.com.
Carolina Ballet’s Dracula
Back by popular demand, Lynne Taylor-Corbett’s Dracula returns to the stage after four years just in time for Halloween. This program also includes Robert Weiss’ scary evocation of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Masque of the Red Death. Featuring J. Mark Scearce’s (Macbeth) original scores for both ballets, played LIVE featuring an intimate chamber ensemble!
This version of Dracula features the traditional gothic story but told in a different way. There is a narrator on stage throughout the performance, making it more like a Broadway show and less like the typical ballet performances.
This show is one that art-lovers, dance-fans, theatre nerds and horror junkies alike can all get into. Learn more and purchase tickets at CarolinaBallet.com.
