Ah yes, it’s that week between Chrismas and New Year’s… you know the one:
It is the period between Christmas and New year. No one knows what day it is. Time doesn't really exist. Can we start drinking at 10am? Why not. Existence is a confusion.

Preach on, Ron. Although we don’t open until 4 p.m. on weekdays (12 noon on Weekends), we invite you in to do a little post-holiday drinking this week as we explore mid-Atlantic whiskeys hailing from Maryland and North Carolina with this week’s “Whiskey of the Week” selections in Greensboro and Raleigh.
Whiskey of the Week: Greensboro
December 26, 2018, through December 30, 2018, please visit us at Dram & Draught Greensboro to try Lonerider Spirits’ first release, their Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon, at a special price of $10 for a two-ounce pour (regularly $12).
The Whiskey Wash shares makers notes that read, “It is a high rye bourbon style, sporting a mash bill that’s 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley. It is non-age statement in nature, having first been aged in new American oak followed by a finishing period in ex-sherry cask.”
Whiskey of the Week: Raleigh
Over in Raleigh, visit us now through December 30, to try Sagamore Spirits’ Signature Rye Whiskey. According to the distiller’s website, the “spirit flows from a spring house, built in 1909, at Maryland’s Sagamore Farm – naturally filtered spring water, fed from a limestone aquifer”.
We look forward to winding down 2018 with you at Dram & Draught this week. Be sure to ask your barkeeps for their recommendations on their favorite ways to enjoy this week’s featured selections… or share yours with them. Cheers!
