Whiskey Wednesday returns with two new fresh picks for you to enjoy in Raleigh and Greensboro, now through Sunday, January 20, 2019.
We have a real gem for you this week, Raleigh. Eagle Rare is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that has been aged for no less than 10 years. It is the only bourbon to ever win the double gold medal five times at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It comes from the fine folks behind Buffalo Trace, finding home amongst friends on our shelves. Try it this week for $10 for a two-ounce pour (regularly $12).
If this week’s Greensboro selection sounds familiar, you might have read about it when we featured it in Raleigh earlier this month. Old Scout American Whiskey is described as a “union of two whiskies distilled from classic bourbon mash bills”, you’ll notice flavors of new oak as well as re-charred bourbon casks. Give it a try for $9 this week, regularly $11.
See you this week for a specially-priced whiskey, friends!
