Our friends at Havana Deluxe have made it into a well-deserved feature in one of our favorite publications, Cigar Aficionado!
We are pumped for our Glenwood South neighbors and tip our hat to the Aficionado nod that for “more than 20 years, this fixture has been the go-to spot for an after-dinner smoke or drink in the City of Oaks.”
If you haven’t yet ventured into Havana Deluxe, pin some time to do so. Tucked away off Glenwood Avenue behind Armadillo Grill (437 Glenwood Avenue) for two decades now, you will find this “cozy neighborhood bar meets basement” as the only spot left in Raleigh where you can still enjoy a cigar inside alongside a glass of whiskey. There are usually about 30 cigar options available on a regular basis and they’re open 365 days out of the year – who doesn’t love that?
Stop by and tell our friends congrats on the major feature when you get a chance!
